• Education :

He joined King Saud University - College of Commerce, Department of Accounting and Business Administration - and graduated from it.

• Practical life:

• He began his professional career as an assistant to the head of the warehouses department, then worked in the financial department before moving to the financial representation department, where he was appointed as a financial representative. The Ministry of Communications was the first government entity where he practiced financial representation. He continued his role as a financial representative in most government departments in Riyadh until he transferred in 1970 (1390 AH) to Jeddah for an official mission during the first conference of foreign ministers of Islamic countries held in Jeddah. He then continued working as a financial representative for the Ministry of Finance at the Civil Aviation Authority, the Jeddah Municipality, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.He later moved to work at the Ministry of Finance and National Economy branch as the General Manager, and was subsequently promoted to Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance and National Economy, as well as the Ministry's representative in the Makkah region, overseeing seven branches under the Ministry of Finance.He attended courses in planning and budgeting from several institutions.He was selected as the Ministry of Finance and National Economy’s representative as part of Saudi Arabia's delegation to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) for over 15 years.He became the Chairman of the Permanent Financial Committee of the OIC, which consists of representatives from the 52 contributing countries, and also served as the Chairman of the Financial Control Authority within the organization, which is made up of 10 member countries, for more than 15 years.He received several shields from the OIC and letters of appreciation for his efforts in monitoring and setting standards for oversight of the organization and its affiliated institutions.
